Earlier this month our very own Grade 12 students Daniel Pirillo and Daniel Bianchi, who play for Vaughan Azzurri 2006 boys team, won the Ontario Cup. They are now on their way to compete for the National Cup in Moncton, New Brunswick. A journey that has taken them twice to the Finals back-to-back. Pirillo and Bianchi’s team is ranked number 1 in their league, as they strive to remain at the top.
Pirillo and Bianchi have played soccer together for over 10 years and are now soon-to-be proud graduates of Holy Cross Catholic Academy. Opportunities are endless with these two and we look forward to seeing where their journey takes them. Best of luck at Nationals boys! Holy Cross will be cheering you on from home.
