The YCDSB is pleased to announce that the YRSTF2024 is back on April 6th, 2024! Once again we will be hosted in person at York University! The YCDSB hopes that teachers and students will once again join for an exciting Saturday of Science!
We wanted to let you know of 3 important dates coming up.
- January 16th: YRSTF 2024 Information Night! On January 16th at 7:30pm we will be hosting our YRSTF Information Night for students, parents, and teachers. We ask that you please share this information with your interested students, colleagues, and parents. To participate in the information night, we ask that everyone please register here: https://forms.gle/jVQ48oKYdt9ZoWVy5 so that we can send out the session link on the day of the event.
- January 23: Teacher-Only Event (Details to follow): In a quest to build participation in our fair to pre-pandemic levels, we are hosting a virtual teacher-only event on January 23rd @ 4:00 pm.
We will cover a range of topics including how to get your students to perform authentic science research and innovation, resources available to use in the classroom, suggestions for hosting your own mini-fair in class, and will be available to answer any other science fair-related questions.

- February 1, 2024 – March 8th: Student Registration Opens. Registration can be completed from the http://yrstf.info.yorku.ca webpage.
