Course Change or Course Drop info:

2024-2025 School Year

TO REQUEST A COURSE CHANGE OR A COURSE DROP:

Students must complete a PAPER S.25B Request for Course Change Form

  • Visit the Guidance Office in person and pick up a PAPER S.25B Request for Course Change Form (email/phone requests will NOT be accepted).

  • Have a parent or legal guardian SIGN your COMPLETED form.

  • Drop it off in the Guidance Office.

  • If there is room in a course that you requested and a change is possible, a Guidance Counsellor will complete the change and notify you by email.  Be sure to check your ycdsbk12 email accounts.

Note:

  • Courses may be full and course changes should be limited to stream and pathway changes. We will do our best to grant your request.

  • There will be no changes to gr. 9 or gr. 10 electives

  • Submission of a paper S.25B Request for Course Change Form in person is the only way to request an OFFICIAL COURSE CHANGE. We are unable to accept voicemail or email requests.

  • Spares are for Gr 12 students only.

THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT COURSE CHANGE FORMS IS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2024 AT 3:00 P.M.

Guidance appointments not related to course changes can be made through the Guidance Website beginning Friday, September 13, 2024 at 2:30 P.M.
