An important decision was made during a special Board of Trustees meeting held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. After careful consideration, the Board has decided to phase out the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Holy Cross Catholic Academy (HCCA), starting next school year. Our current Grade 11 (Year 1) students enrolled in the HCCA IB program will still be permitted to complete their program in Grade 12 (Year 2) next year. However, beginning in September 2025, HCCA will no longer accept students into the pre-IB and IB programs as well as not offering pre-IB courses in Grade 9 and 10 or Grade 11 IB courses.
By September 2026, the school will officially cease offering any IB courses.
